Module 1
Many recently identified Autistic adults experience imposter phenomenon — the feeling that your identification isn’t valid, or that you’re somehow “not Autistic enough.”
This module explores why that happens, how intersecting identities shape the experience of being Autistic, and how to sit with uncertainty as you find your footing.
What This Module Covers
- What imposter phenomenon looks like
- Why late identification is so common — and what that means
- How gender, sexuality, age, race, culture, and other identities intersect with being Autistic
- Moving past the “not enough” narrative
- Finding validation from within, not just from others
